Matthew Howell serves as the President of Sterling Roof Systems, where he brings over a decade of robust business management experience. His leadership journey began with honorable service in the military, specifically with the 101st Airborne Division, which included two challenging tours in Iraq. Following his military service, he returned to South Bend and swiftly advanced in the automotive parts industry, achieving the position of store manager within just four years. As part of the leadership team at a local Freightliner dealership, Matthew’s role as assistant manager of a commercial division helped drive unprecedented growth in 2021. His dedication to integrity, innovation, and customer satisfaction has been instrumental in guiding our company’s strategic direction.
Michael Howell, Vice President
Michael Howell, co-founder and Vice President of Sterling Roof Systems, stands out as a top roofing professional. Starting his career with an apprenticeship in 2011 at a local union shop, he quickly became a prominent figure in local roofing circles. From 2012 to 2014, he was honored as “Apprentice of the Year” for three consecutive years. After earning his journeyman card, Michael expanded his expertise across diverse roofing projects, employing a variety of materials and innovative techniques. Before co-founding Sterling Roof Systems, he significantly enhanced a commercial roofing division at an independent shop. His extensive knowledge and hands-on approach guarantee that all our projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
